Introduction

Recently, we have seen many companies put a lot of effort into making everything smaller, for example, smaller phones, smaller cameras, smaller families, smaller amounts of pay and smaller cars. This trend has also affected computers - Low profile computers have gained an enormous level of popularity, especially with consumers, audio visual enthusiasts and of course, LAN party gamers.

The Cooler Master ATC-500 aluminium case is one such after-market case aimed at taking advantage of this trend. Standing at just 38cm tall, it is the smallest of Cooler Master's consumer level cases, but despite its diminutive size, the ATC-500 comes with many features found in larger Cooler Master offerings. How successful has the scaling down process been? Read on to find out.

This UK exlusive review of the ATC-500 is made possible by KustomPCs, who were kind enough to send it for evaluation. KustomPCs is the first UK online retailer to stock the case, which can be purchased here.
